Creating Space for Nature Play at Home – VIRTUAL

January 9, 2021 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am

$45
Nature play can reduce stress, increase physical activity, and help children develop such skills as reasoning, problem solving and cooperation.

Some of the most well-loved spaces at the Wildflower Center are our nature play areas, where children can create and imagine while connecting with the great outdoors. From the Stumpery and Dino Creek in the Family Garden to the Fort Build in the Arboretum, families enjoy the benefits of time spent together outdoors in these spaces. In this class, learn how to incorporate natural elements into your own home or community garden for playtime. Discover the best plants for creating a child-and pet-friendly landscape.

Read more about the benefits and elements of nature play here.
