Coneflowers in Alcohol Inks

Express your love of coneflowers with a new artistic technique using alcohol inks on Nara paper. With this unique medium you’ll enjoy creating your own blooming abstract coneflower fields with experienced artist, Andrea Patton, as your guide. Starting out perfecting your technique by painting a single coneflower, before moving on to create your own blossoming field of purple coneflowers.
This class is open to both beginners and intermediate artists looking to learn a new technique for painting, ages 16 and up. Participants will take home two pieces of art, both filled with beautifully blended coneflowers and a new skill!
This class will take place in person at the Wildflower Center. Space is limited and registration is required. Masks are optional. Please review our safety guidelines here.

Please note: Supplies are included with registration. Alcohol inks can stain clothes, please bring a smock or an old shirt to wear. Alcohol inks can also have a strong smell and may stain hands. A face mask and latex-free gloves are optional.
