Boys at Watering Hole

Nature Nights are free, family-friendly events filled with exciting explorations of native plants, animals and the ecology of Central Texas. Each evening features interactive presentations, hikes with experts in their fields, and nature crafting for kids of all ages.

We are excited to offer ASL interpretation for the following program at June 29’s Water, Rocks & Mud Nature Night:
 
6:45pm: Puppet Show in the Auditorium (Tickets are free, but required as space is limited; claim yours at the Admissions Kiosk.)

Regular admission is charged during the day. Admission is always free for members.

June 8: Reptiles & Birds of Prey
The free family fun begins with an up-close look at predators who slither and fly — featuring presentations from experts and appearances from real live raptors and snakes!

June 15: Habitats
Explore the ecology of Central Texas by learning who lives where and what makes an ideal home for critters and plants alike.

June 22: Pollinators
If you ate something today, you probably have a pollinator to thank for it! Learn how bees, butterflies and other pollinators impact our lives.

June 29: Water, Rocks & Mud 
Looking for a reason to play in the dirt? Get down to earth to celebrate International Mud Day and learn about the ground beneath your feet!
