Interested in collecting and storing seeds from native plants in your garden but don’t know where to start? Looking for the best tips & tricks for propagating from live plants?

Join Center Horticulturist Leslie Uppinghouse and Greenhouse Specialist Jay Caddel as they introduce you to the basics of native seed collection and the art of plant propagation. In this hands-on workshop students will have a chance to spend time in the gardens collecting and processing seeds with Leslie before getting down to the nitty gritty of propagating from live plants with Jay. Not only will students leave this class with their new found knowledge of propagation, they will also have the opportunity to take home a few propagation experiments for their own garden!

This class will be kept small to create opportunities for hands-on learning, discussion and Q&A with your expert instructor.

Participants must be 15 years or older to register. No prior experience is necessary.

Space is limited and registration is required.

This class had SOLD OUT. If you would like to be added to our waitlist please email our Education Department at [email protected]
