New to Texas, or just new to gardening with native plants? Howdy and welcome! Come on down to the official Botanic Garden of Texas to learn about everything from cacti to coneflowers and how to start a garden in the Lone Star State. Join Horticulturist Leslie Uppinghouse, native plant expert, as you learn how to identify plants suited for your space, set your gardening goals and get the best tips for keeping plants and landscapes healthy. At the end of this class, participants will also enjoy a guided shopping experience at our Spring Native Plant Sale, complete with support from our native plant experts!

This class will take place in person at the Wildflower Center. Space is limited and registration is required. Face masks are optional. Please review our Safety Guidelines before your visit.
