SPRING NATIVE PLANT SALE

Our Spring Native Plant Sale features a variety of Texas natives, including flowering perennials, grasses, vines, shrubs and trees for shady and sunny gardens. Native plants conserve water; lower mowing costs; provide habitat for birds, butterflies and other wildlife; protect and enrich soil; and reduce the use of fertilizer and pesticides. Plus, they’re beautiful!

Plant Sale Entry

MEMBERS ONLY weekend: Reservations will be available 7 days in advance, starting March 21. Reservations are not required, but are the best way to ensure admission to the plant sale. Please note: The Center updated its membership portal in September 2024. If you have not logged in since then, it will be necessary to create a new login. Follow these instructions to make sure you’re set up!

GENERAL PUBLIC weekends: Guests will be admitted to the plant sale on a first-come, first-served basis. Plant Sale admission is FREE. If you would like to explore the gardens after shopping, general admission to Center grounds will apply.

New plants arrive each week! We continually update our inventory with fresh species throughout the sale, so there’s always something new to discover.

Member Reservations

Pro Tips

  • Become a Wildflower Center member for first dibs and 10% off.
  • We’ll be set up in the Texas Arboretum which is easily accessed at the end of La Crosse Avenue. Guests may park in our lot or on the street and walk right up to the plant sale entrance. Shoppers will be able to access the sale without paying admission to the gardens (garden admission applies separately).
  • Bring your own cart to haul plants if possible.
  • Bring drinking water and wear a hat and sunscreen.
  • After you purchase your plants, we can hold them while you explore and enjoy the Center, but plants must be picked up by 2 p.m.
  • You’ll be able to drive right up to the pickup area when you’re ready to go. We’ll also help load your plants into your vehicle.

2-3 gallon pots: $27.00
5 gallon pots: $36.00
