Fall Native Plant Sale

Our Fall Native Plant Sale features a variety of Texas natives, including flowering perennials and annuals, grasses, vines, shrubs and trees for shady and sunny gardens. Native plants conserve water; lower mowing costs; provide habitat for birds, butterflies and other wildlife; protect and enrich soil; and reduce the use of fertilizer and pesticides. Plus, they’re beautiful!

For folks who have attended our previous plant sales, please note that the sale location has changed. We’ll be set up in the Texas Arboretum which is easily accessed at the end of La Crosse Avenue. Guests may park in our lot or on the street and walk right up to the plant sale entrance. Shoppers will be able to access the sale without paying admission to the gardens (garden admission applies separately). This change allows us to have a larger sale area, more cashiers for quicker check out, and easier plant pickup.

Pro Tips

• Please arrive at the Wildflower Center early enough to be at the plant sale area by the time of your reservation. We recommend 15 minutes or longer before the time on your ticket. Capacity is limited. Punctuality will help us serve you and other shoppers better and maximize your time at the plant sale.
• Bring your own cart to haul plants if possible.
• Bring a refillable water bottle and wear a hat and sunscreen.
• After you purchase your plants, we can hold them while you explore and enjoy the Center, but plants must be picked up by 2 p.m.
• You’ll be able to drive right up to the pickup area when you’re ready to go. We’ll also help load your plants into your vehicle.
