Guest Experience Associate
We are seeking friendly, service-oriented people to greet guests and get them started on their adventures at the Center. If you love people and have a hunch you could be a great ambassador for the Wildflower Center, we invite you to read on.
Provides exceptional and consistent guest services through direct interaction, phone calls and email correspondence, thereby increasing visitation and membership to help meet Wildflower Center goals.
Responsible for daily ticketing and admissions transactions, including receiving and/or recording credit card, check and cash payments.
Registers guests and processes payment for programs, classes, membership, tours and special events through our website, in person or over the phone.
Responsible for addressing all guest inquiries and may refer complex questions to appropriate staff.
Works closely with Wildflower Center database users to identify best practices as they relate to input and management. Review constituent records for accuracy and assists in correcting records according to UT standards.
High school graduation or GED.
Two years of experience on cash register or point-of-sale (POS) equipment.
Two years of experience in customer service or related field.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Experience multitasking in high-traffic area.
Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills.
Knowledge of computer systems and ability to learn new software.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
Ability to work weekends and evenings as required during peak seasons and special events.
Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate. This position is temporary/seasonal, part time and benefits exempt.
