Texas wildflowers dance across the fields throughout the year. Learn a new way to spend time in nature and celebrate light, shapes and colors. In this course, discover how to observe, sketch and bring wildflowers to life through watercolors. Cut flowers, photos and demonstration drawings will be provided, but students may also sketch and capture images in the Wildflower Center gardens. Saturday, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Texas artist Sue Kemp began painting in watercolor over 25 years ago. She has taught at The Art School at Laguna Gloria since 2002. Sue strives to impart a sense of self-expression unto her students and encourage them to learn from her, but become themselves.
