It's time to put some spring in your step! Join us every Monday from 5 - 8 p.m. for a variety of wellness and fitness classes among the wildflowers during extended hours in the gardens. With fresh adult and youth classes, there are joyful movement options for every body!

These classes will take place on site. Space is limited and registration is required. Please know that face masks are required at all times at the Center. Please review our safety guidelines before your visit.

Restore your body and mind in a meditative forest bathing session. Fully immerse yourself in a tranquil 90-minute guided experience along our Texas Arboretum Trail. Forest Therapy is a research-based framework for supporting healing and wellness through immersion in natural environments. Inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-Yoku, this class is sure to have you feeling grounded and mindful. Offered on March 29, April 19 and May 3, 5:30 – 7 p.m. $35 per person; Members receive a discount.
Gardening is great exercise, but it can result in physical pain and injury if not done with proper form. Physical therapists from Spero Rehab will share stretches and techniques to help avoid gardening injuries. Offered on April 5, 6 – 7 p.m. both online and on site. $15 per person; Free for members attending online. Members attending this class on site receive a discount. This class has been CANCELED.
Get FIT this spring with The Fitness Institute of Texas in this 8-week series! Held outdoors in our Arboretum Trail, this class will consist of a 45-minute, no-equipment-required workout. Sessions will include a dynamic warmup followed by a full-body workout and cooldown. Designed for adults of any age and fitness level who want to sweat, move and feel good. This 8-week series will take place each Monday, March 22 – May 10, 5:15 – 6 p.m. $15 per person, $100 for the 8-week series; Members do not receive a discount on this class. This series is SOLD OUT.
Get jumping to a new beat in these two heart-pounding 4-week series! Jump Rope Jam integrates choreographed dance with jump rope technique for a fun-filled 45-minute class. This class is offered as two consecutive 4-week series. Register for the hip hop series, electronic dance music (EDM) series or both! Jump Rope Jam – Hip Hop 4-week series will take place each Monday, March 22 – April 12, 5:15 – 6 p.m. Jump Rope Jam – EDM 4-week series will take place each Monday, April 19 – May 10, 5:15 – 6 p.m. $16 per person, $57 per 4-week series; Members receive a discount.
Tone your core whilst tending your garden! Learn all about the various types of rakes and brooms, the best techniques for using each tool and how you can work out with both. This hands-on class will really change how you feel about garden chores! Offered on May 10, 6 – 7 p.m. $15 per person; Members receive a discount.
Get your yoga flow on in this high-energy and restorative class. Each week will incorporate a different theme from your favorite decades to keep things fresh. Sweatbands and parachute pants welcome! This 8-week series will take place each Monday, March 22 – May 10, 7 – 8 p.m. $16 per person, $115 for the 8-week series; Members receive a discount.

YOUTH CLASSES

Youth Class Descriptions

Kick it in these two blood-pumping 4-week series! A mix of dance moves and cardio kickboxing creates this high-energy class with moves that are easy to follow. This class is offered as two consecutive 4-week series. Register for themed Drake & Ariana Grande mash-up series, Taylor Swift & Eminem mash-up series, or both! The first 4-week series of this class is March 22 – April 12, 6:30 – 7:15 p.m. The second 4-week series of this class is April 19 – May 10, 6:30 – 7:15 p.m. Ages 5 – 60.
Explore the improvisational movement techniques of contemporary dance to the upbeat music of boy beats and K-pop. Discover how different types of music influence emotions and movement and give youth a chance to let their inner choreographer shine. This 8-week series takes place each Monday, March 22 – May 10, 5:45 – 6:30 p.m. Ages 5 – 17.
This class features high-energy, follow-along dances to a variety of beats with guided improvisation. All ages are welcome to build strength, increase stamina and get stretchy in this fun and freeing series. This 8-week series will take place weekly March 22 – May 10, 5:15 – 6 p.m. Ages 5 – 60.
Join Marathon Kids to walk, jog or run “wild” among 900 species of native Texas plants on varied trails and routes inside the Center. Come and experience the beauty of Hill Country Trails after hours. Marathon Kids will provide participants with a map of each trail and each trail completed equals an entry into a drawing for a Marathon Kids gift basket with gift cards and fun merch. This 8-week series takes place weekly March 22 – May 10, 5:15 – 6 p.m. & 6:30 – 7:15 p.m. Ages 5 – 60.
Find both fun and calm practicing playful yoga poses in the garden with ATX Yoga Girl. This 8-week series takes place weekly March 22 – May 10, 5:15 – 6 p.m. Ages 5 – 17.
