Container Gardening Workshop

Create a portable native plant paradise on your patio, balcony, or in your yard with this hands-on workshop taught by our very own Samantha Elkinton, Gardens Manager. Learn how to identify native plants that do well in containers and get tips for transplanting and keeping your flora healthy.

Materials and plants for this class are included with registration. Participants are also welcome to bring a container of their choice (size specifications will be sent to participants prior to the workshop).

Space is limited. Registration is required.

Rules for Participating Youth (12-17)

  • Youth 12-17 years of age must be accompanied by an adult chaperone
  • Materials to make a container garden will only be given to participating individuals with a pre-purchased class ticket
  • Those without a class ticket will not receive materials
  • Chaperones must be present at all times
