An illustration of a stylized armadillo walks up a staircase made of books.
Meet Texas-based children’s authors and illustrators, enjoy story time and other literary activities, and discover great stories and books to take home!

Browse books in our climate-controlled McDermott Learning Center, then head down to the Family Garden to read in our little outdoor book gazebo, Lynda’s Library.

All activities are free with regular admission to the Wildflower Center. Join us for story times throughout each day.
