Distribution
USA: AL , AZ , FL , HI , NC , SCNative Distribution: This species has a very unusual distribution. In North America, native populations have been reported in Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Mexico. It also occurs in Hawaii. Additionally, there are wild populations in Hispanola, Jamaica, Central America, South America and Africa. (Webref 3). The species was described from a specimen collected in South Africa.
