Something spectacular is coming! Join us in our gardens to enjoy eclipse related activities and view this rare astronomical event. The solar eclipse will be visible from 1:32 p.m. to 1:41 p.m. CST on Monday, April 8, 2024. The Wildflower Center will experience approximately 1 minute and 46 seconds of totality!

Free parking on Wildflower Center property will not be available from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. on April 8, 2024. Guaranteed parking tickets have sold out, so we highly recommend carpooling or ride-share options as there is very limited parking available on La Crosse Avenue.

Come early to find your viewing spot and enjoy the hours leading up to the eclipse. We highly suggest bringing your own blankets and lawn chairs, as well as eclipse glasses for safe viewing. There are a limited quantity of eclipse glasses and viewers for sale in our gift shop until sold out.
