As a service to the public, the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center collects information on native plant societies, conservation groups, governmental agencies, botanical gardens, arboreta, and other plant-related organizations throughout North America. Description: The U. of Mass. herbarium is a regional herbarium with about 1/3 of our 215,000 speciments from New England and Westers Mass. In addition to supporting research, we serve as a resource for plant identification and information.
