As a service to the public, the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center collects information on native plant societies, conservation groups, governmental agencies, botanical gardens, arboreta, and other plant-related organizations throughout North America. Description: The Ecology Action Centre has acted as a voice for Nova Scotia's environment for over 35 years. The EAC was recently voted #1 Activist Organization by readers of The Coast magazine for the second year running, and 2nd runner-up for Best Volunteer Opportunity. Since 1971, the EAC has been working to build a healthier, more sustainable Nova Scotia. Today we have over 800 members, 250 volunteers and staff, and seven active teams and committees.
