As a service to the public, the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center collects information on native plant societies, conservation groups, governmental agencies, botanical gardens, arboreta, and other plant-related organizations throughout North America. Native Plant Focus: We promote use and conservation of native plants and their habitats. We award grants to educational entities for the establishment and/or maintenance of native habitat gardens as outdoor class rooms at our annual 2-day educational conference at Michigan State University first Sunday and Monday in March.
