As a service to the public, the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center collects information on native plant societies, conservation groups, governmental agencies, botanical gardens, arboreta, and other plant-related organizations throughout North America. Native Plant Focus: Native and endemic plants of Catalina Island are propagated, grown and outplanted to meet our restoration needs. We do not do retail.

Description: The Santa Catalina Island Conservancy is a 501 (c) non-profit whose mission is to be responsible stewards of its lands through a balance of conservation, education, and stewardship. The Conservancy established in 1989, the James H. Ackerman Native Plant Nursery to assist its Conservation Department in its restoration efforts.
