As a service to the public, the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center collects information on native plant societies, conservation groups, governmental agencies, botanical gardens, arboreta, and other plant-related organizations throughout North America. Publications: The National Gardener - A quarterly magazine that connects National Garden Clubs, Inc. to the Region, to the State Garden Club, to the District, to the Member Garden Club and, finally, to the individual Garden Club member.
Description: National Garden Clubs (NGC) is a not-for-profit educational organization with its headquarters in St. Louis, Missouri, United States. It is composed of 50 State Garden Clubs and the National Capital Area, 6,922 member garden clubs and 217,233 members. In addition, NGC proudly recognizes 447 International Affiliates from Canada to Mexico and South America, from Bermuda to South Africa, Australia and Japan, as well as 49 National Affiliates within the United States.
