As a service to the public, the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center collects information on native plant societies, conservation groups, governmental agencies, botanical gardens, arboreta, and other plant-related organizations throughout North America. Description: Our mission is to help coordinate the resource needs of Nevada's diverse biological heritage with human activities. We do this by maintaining an inventory and current databases on the locations, biology, and conservation status of all threatened, endangered, and sensitive species and biological communities in the state.
