Habitat: Sunny, SE facing, caliche slope. Among Poaceae and other herbs. Many.

Description: Erect, 40 cm tall, single stalk annual. Fruit sub-sessile, thick, fusiform, not abruptly constricted, 4 mm long, 4-angled. Flowers 4-merous; petals 6 cm long. Sepals 8 cm long, w/appressed fubesence.
