Abstract

Researches the effects of fire season on the cover of species and flowering guilds in planted tallgrass prairie in Wisconsin. Rudbeckia hirta showed a dramatic response to spring or summer burns. This information may be beneficial to the management of wildflowers in habitats exposed to frequent fire.
