Abstract
Determines the tolerance of Coreopsis lanceolata, Echinacea purpurea, and Rudbeckia hirta var. pulcherrima grown in containers to preemergence herbicides. Herbicides were applied at the maximum use rate and twice the maximum use rate. Dithiopyr, pendimethalin, prodiamine, DCPA, oxadiazon, and metolachlor were tolerated by all wildflower species. However, dithiopyr, pendimethalin, and prodiamine provided better control of spotted spurge (Euphorbia maculata) and yellow woodsorrel (Oxalis stricta).Suggested Citation
