Abstract
Seed physiology of Oenothera laciniata and the effects of herbicide treatment were characterized. Optimal germination and fasted rate of germination was observed at an alternating 20/35C temperature regime. Germination decreased with increasing pH (optimal pH was 4). Water stress also decreased germination. Optimal field control was obtained with a combination of 2,4-D and glyphosate or paraquat.Suggested Citation
