Abstract
Investigates whether blueberry scorch virus, a pervasive pathogen of highbush blueberry, is introduced into crops through nursery production. This virus uses aphids as its vector and can have a five year latent period before symptoms are visible. The study found that nurseries are an important source of the virus. Since plants often do not show symptoms, it is important for plants to be tested for the virus.Suggested Citation
