Abstract
Investigates the phylogenetic relationships within the genus Leucothoe based on phenotypic characters (morphology, anatomy, chromosome number, and secondary chemistry). The authors found that the genus is polyphyletic and suggest splitting the genus into three genera. Leucothoe axillaris would remain in Leucothoe under the new subscription.Suggested Citation
