Abstract
Presents complete fecundity and survivorship data from a natural population of Phlox drummondii. The majority of offspring were produced by a small percentage of the population. Rate of reproduction and of increase were lower than other colonizing species. This suggests that although P. drummondii has a shortened generation length, it lacks some of the demographic characteristics that many annuals have.Suggested Citation
