Abstract
Optimal infection of Desmodium tortuosum by the fungus Colletotrichum truncatum was obtained at 100% relative humidity between 24C and 29C. Cotyledon stage seedlings were most susceptible to infection and resistance increased with plant age. Ten of 18 tested genotypes were susceptible to infection. A variety of other species and varieties of species tested were resistant or immune to infection.Suggested Citation
