Abstract
Compared pollinators in Asclepias incarnata to evaluate importance to plant reproduction. Hymenopteran insects were the predominate pollinators but no specialization within Hymenoptera was observed. Pollinators varied significantly in pollination effectiveness. However, the amount to time pollinators spent on the flower was strongly correlated with several effectiveness components measured.Suggested Citation
