Abstract
Examines the genetic composition of seed populations of Hibiscus moscheutos. The genetics of tidal, floating-seed populations were compared with established populations. The floating-seed populations had an excess of homozygotes not present in established populations. Established populations adjacent to tidal streams serve as a source of genetic variation within the metapopulation.Suggested Citation
