Abstract
Principal component analysis and stepwise discriminate analysis of the fruits of Acacia farnesiana and sister taxa indicate that Acacia smallii is conspecific with Acacia farnesiana var. farnesiana. The authors also argue for the recognition of a new variety, Acacia farnesiana var. guanacastensis.Suggested Citation
