Abstract
Putative hybrids between Andropogon glomeratus var. pumilus and Andropogon longiberbis were identified in Lake County, FL. Putative hybrids were less fertile than the assumed parents. Hybrids also had significantly different spikelet lengths and raceme sheath widths than either of the assumed parents. Reproductive isolation of A. glomeratus var. pumilus and A. longiberbis is partially controlled by asynchronous flowering and cleistogamy.Suggested Citation
