Abstract

Pollination of Campsis radicans is studied in Poland, where the species is planted as an ornamental. Low seed set is attributed to pollinator limitation. In North America where C. radicans is native, pollination is by hummingbirds. In Poland, C. radicans is pollinated by the honey bee, Apis mellifera.
