Abstract
Evaluates the effects of competition from crabgrass (Digitaria ciliaris) and the addition of compost manure on the yield of warm-season legumes, including Chamaecrista fasciculata. Crabgrass reduced legume yields during the establishment year but not during the second year. Amending soil with compost favored crabgrass competition but did not affect legume development.Suggested Citation
