Abstract

Analyzes the genetic variability of disjunct populations of Helenium virginicum from Virginia and Missouri. The genetics research included populations of H. autumnale and H. flexuosum from 12 US states and two Canadian provinces. The article discusses the evolution of the H. autumnale complex.
