Abstract
Quantifies competitive abilities of two old world bluestem species in the genus Bothriochloa with three native grasses including Andropogon gerardii and Schizachyrium scoparium. The article concludes that both old world bluestem species are competitively superior to the three native species. The old world bluestems have the ability to invade and threaten grasslands of the Central and Southern Great Plains.Suggested Citation
