Abstract
Investigates using the rust fungus Puccinia psidii as a biological control agent of the invasive tree Melaleuca quinquenervia in Florida. Native species of the same family, including Eugenia foetida and Myrcianthes fragrans) were exposed to isolates of the fungus to identify possible susceptibility. Myrcianthes fragrans was susceptible to isolates but Eugenia foetida was not.Suggested Citation
