Habitat: Partly shady under Juniperus ashei on W facing hill among grasses & forbs.
Description: Standard dayflower; pale-purple petals 24 x 18 mm; sepals 9 x 7 mm; stamens-2 of 12 mm, 1 of 10 mm; 3 stamenodes; style 18 mm, stigma with slight swelling; leaves lanceolate, almost linear, 10 x 90 to 35 x 70 mm. Key identification--spathe 15 x 31 mm, adaxially connate.
