Habitat: Some shade to partly sunny; fairly good soil with higher humus contant than normal.
Description: Standard dayflower; decumbent, 15-20 stems arising from flat 15 cm crown; stems reddish, 5-6 dm long, 2 mm dia; leaves lanceolate, 2 x 6 cm, petiole 2 cm; internodal distance 5-7 cm; spathe 14 x 21 mm with 2-3 mm peduncle, 6 mm thick. Flower opening at sunrise.
