Habitat: Open, level, dry, alkaline, alluvial soil. Among Poaceae.

Description: Several stems from base, loosely ascending to 40 cm, from stout taproot, hispid-villous throughout, the hairs slender & loosely ascending. Leaves narrowly oblanceolate, to .5x8 cm, reduced upwardly. Cymes racemose, solitary, terminal. Corolla pale blue, funnel form, 3 mm long, tube cylindric.
