Habitat: Full sun, at edge of Quercus and Juniperus; good soil.

Description: 45 cm, single stem, stiffly erect herb. No branching below mid-stalk, but lower stalk heavily leafed with no apparent order of attachment. Heavily branched above. Leaves on lower stem divided and petiolate. Leaves on branches linear, subsessile. Infloresence terminal on stalk and branches.
