Habitat: Moist, alkaline, alluvial limestone. Semi-shade.

Description: Creeping perennial, rooting at nodes, widely branching, eventually ascending. Leaves 10x28 mm, widest beyond mid-length w/7 pairs of small antorse teeth distally, apex sub-acute, cuneate basally, opposite, medium green, strigillose-puberulent. Pedicels axillary, twice as long as the subtending leaves. Infloresence a dense cylindrical spike. Corolla minute/white.
