Habitat: Moist, loose soil from detritus organic material and limestone. Full sun.

Description: Erect, 35 cm stem from taproot & many, long fibrous roots, pubescent throughout. Freely branching. Leaves lance-ovate, to 1x5 cm. Petioled (1-3 mm), entire, 3-nerved from base. Infloresence androgenous. Racemes from axils, to 28 mm long. Staminate flowers clustered along raceme (many); pistillate (1-3) at base. Fruit 3-celled. Seed 1 per cell.
