Habitat: Under Quercus virginiana in rocky ditch. Partial shade.

Description: Flower: ray/disk yellow. Leaves when crushed release camphor odor. Stems & leaves covered with white hairs; those of lower stem long, alternate, petioled; upper ones sessile. Plants to 3.6 dm tall, simple stalked, branching at top.
