Location: North side of Canyon Lake at 880 Military Dr. on Canyon Lake Island.
Latitude: 0.000000

Habitat: In abundance along roadsides and on dry, rocky hills.

Description: Perennial 1-3 m tall. Pistillate heads with about 15-30 flowers, involucre campanulate, about 5 mm high. Pappus hairs turn silvery in fall.
