Habitat: Moist clay beside pond(polder). Almost full sun.

Description: Creeping, decumbent to ascending perennial, much branched, rooting at nodes, appressed strigose. Leaves cuneate; sessile, or nearly so,widest near apex, 4 pair large coarse, salient teeth near apex. Bractlets acute, imbricate, not conspicuously reflexed. Peduncles 1.5 x length of subtending leaves. Heads 5-10 mm thick. Fruit not present.
