Location: 30 m S of wooden bridge, in stagnant water--Oakwell Farms.
Latitude: 0.000000

Habitat: Full sun. In mud and shallow water of a sometimes flooded ditch. Soil probably acidic from humus. Growing among Cyperus, Salix, Poaceae.

Description: Stout, erect perennial from wide spreading rhizomes. Leaves erect, simple, sheathing base of the simple, jointless stalk, pale green, 16+ mm wide. Plant monoecious, staminate portion of stalk above, contiguous to and shorter than pistillate portion (2.5 x 30 cm); both tan/medium-brown.
