Location: 1 km E of intersection of Hwy 16 & RR 3550, near Poteet.
Latitude: 0.000000

Habitat: Dry red clay and sand. Full sun. Prosopis dominant in the area.

Description: Stout perennial, branched from near base, to 70 cm tall, striate, glabrous. Leaves to 3 cm long, stipulate, alternate, once imparipinnately compound. Leaflets about 11, oblong, 5 mm long. Infloresence a dense cylindric spike to 5 cm long x 1 cm thick. Flowers small, white.
