Location: 1.25 km east of Hwy 281 & 1 block north of Thousand Oaks, corner of Ledge Sage and Ledge View streets.
Latitude: 0.000000

Habitat: Nearly level, vacant, undisturbed land. Thin, rocky soil. A few Quercus and Diospyros trees.

Description: Taprooted annual, 50-60 cm tall. Stem simple, much branched above. Leaves throughout, lower ones 5-12 cm long, serrate to ternate to thrice-pinnate, ultimately flat, 1 mm broad. Rays 8, yellow, 3-lobed, 9-22 mm long, 9-17 mm broad. Disk corollas red-brown.
