Habitat: On steep slope; very dry, alkaline, alluvial soil. Full sun.

Description: 20 cm, erect, taprooted annual. Stems brown. Leaves ovate-oblong lower to narrowly eliptical upper. Lower petioles as long as leaves; upper ones half or less the length of the blade; all entire.
